In this talk, Dr. Kang will share key outcomes from a three-year National Research Foundation of Korea–funded project, “Development and evaluation of a web-based nursing simulation for LGBT patients with unmet needs,” highlighting the simulation’s development process, core design features, feasibility, and evaluation results. Dr. Kang will also present early findings from her current study, “Development of a tailored healthcare intervention program based on age-specific health issues and unmet needs among adult LGBTQ individuals,” and discuss implications for nursing education and the development of practical, adaptable strategies that can be implemented across diverse clinical and educational settings to reduce unmet needs.
