Every year, Pride events offer LGBTQ+ people the chance to connect and celebrate. This month can be a welcome relief for a community that experiences undue stress from stigma and discrimination. Eidos Senior Director Jessica Halem tells the American Heart Association, “For me, the antidote, and the way to celebrate this month, is to practice love, joy and affirmation towards ourselves and others.”
