How Online Support Can Help LGBTQ+ Youth Increase Resilience

LGBTQ+ teens commonly face enormous stress about their identity. Recent studies show they are more likely to experience suicidal thoughts than heterosexual teens. Eidos faculty members were commissioned by Hopelab to examine the effectiveness of a online mental health tool, imi, in improving mental health for LGBTQ+ youth. Their findings show that imi was effective in helping the LGBTQ+ teens in the study cope with stress, supporting their well-being.
